I'm currently working at a sportsplex. We have 2 ice rinks, an open soccer field, and a boarded soccer field that we use as an inline hockey rink during the spring/summer. We are looking to start hosting some esports tournaments there and I'm wondering where I can go to get some help on finding out what I would need to set this type of thing up. I was an IT student, and I'm not completely stupid when it comes to setting up a network, but for something of this size, and since it's my work I want to make sure we do things the right way and that it'll be secure. The internet package will be fine with handling a tournament, we have the power and space, I'm just hoping to get some advice on what networking devices I will need and how we should go about securing everything. We're not doing anything too big and it's a BYOC event. I guess before I get into detail and ask questions, is this the right subreddit or is there somewhere else I should seek advice?
