MPLS L3 VPN how to provide internet access?

I've been looking at this document:

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/multiprotocol-label-switching-mpls/mpls/24508-internet-access-mpls-vpn.html#table2

But basically it says to use a static route for the reverse traffic from INET to CUST. Which I guess seems okay but is there a better way for this? How do you address overlapping space like this? Do you provide a PUBLIC /30 or /31 from CE to PE or NAT outbound on PE via loopback to avoid overlapping IPs? How does this work now if I use an INTERNET VRF/Shared services VRF? For example how do I ensure that my INET router only gets the public IPs and not the private space from the VRFs?
