Searching I haven't found a definitive answer (perhaps I don't know what I'm searching for).
If I setup iptables on a router (simple linux host) according to the following: http://www.catonmat.net/blog/traffic-accounting-with-iptables/
The byte count for TRAFFIC_ACCT_IN and TRAFFIC_ACCT_OUT; what just exactly does that represent? As in, how many layers in the OSI model is wrapped in? Specifically does it include the layer 2 header?
