Looking for an edge router recommendation.
- Interface between internet line, private line, and core switch. (Inter-vlan routing is happening on core switch)
- Office of 100 users
- MPLS L3 1Gb connection to other locations
- Basic coax internet connection with static ip's
Need the router to peer up to MPLS router and advertise internal networks (BGP) and route internet over the MPLS but detect if either the MPLS link is down or internet is not accessible (IP SLA?) and route to the coax internet if MPLS is down. Also need to build an VPN (ipsec) tunnel to MPLS over coax internet to route to access other locations in the event that the MPLS L3 connection is down.
I'm sure many, many routers out there can accomplish this but what would you recommend for a reliable cost effective solution? We currently have a WatchGuard and while I know it can most likely get the job done, we'd like to put something a little more robust in.
