We never had this issue before, it only started recently after a large storm we had. But our ISP is clueless on why the downstream SNR margins drop every day. We have bonded pair ADSL2+ trained at 10Mbps.
The technician came out 3 times to the exchange and has replaced the pins entirely and while the margins looked fantastic after he replaced them the SNR margins began to again degrade over several days until the modem/router would eventually lose connection and auto reboot itself and retrain the pair The margins are usually at 12DB on the downstream and 20+DB on the upstream for the pairs. It will go as low as 4DB and then reboot itself. what could be causing this issue? we even had a new router sent to us and that didnt solve it. Our ISP is ran by a bunch of loons who cant fix anything, I have to depend highly upon the internet to function properly because I work online. We are on fastchannel (fastpath) which actually helped a ton but still didnt solve the margins dropping over time. Detailed info is below.
Line 1 margins as of now:
SNR: Down: 9.0 db Upstream: 17.9 db
Attenuation: Down: 50.0 db Upstream: 29.2 db
Power: Down: 20.1 dBm Upstream: 10 dBm
Line 2 margins as of now:
SNR: Down: 7.2 db Upstream: 16.1 db
Attenuation: Down: 50.5 db Upstream: 29.2 db
Power: Down: 19.9 dBm Upstream: 10 dBm

Broadband Mode Setting: MULTIMODE
PPP Mode: BONDED
