Wanted to reach out to see how/if others are using any sort of active reporting/detection and alerting on when an L2 port is looped. I am thinking this can be done with an SNMP Trap sending out an alert when a port goes into BLK state or a topology change. I'm in the middle of researching so I would love to share what I come across.
