Port forwarding to stream raspberry pi camera

This may be too newbish for you guys but I just set up a camera stream using raspberry pi. When I connect to it locally using the pi’s static ip:8081 I get the stream.

I’m using no-ip to resolve my ip to a domain, and I’ve logged into my mediacom router and set start port 8080 end port 8081 target port 8081, but canyouseeme is showing timeout error and when I type the address in the bar I get server stopped responding.

But when I scan my ip with nmap it shows 8080 and 8081 as open.

Mediacom said they don’t support forwarding but i can try and if it works great if not no support buy my own router. So do you think it’s just a mediacom router not supporting it thing?
