Hi guys, seem to be here almost every day at the minute!
I have a Dell m1000e, it has 2x Dell m8024-K's in a switch. Each blade has 2 connections in a team, so in essence it should be 20GB connections.
I have installed Tamosoft throughput test, and the max that the connections get are about 1.5 up and 1.5 down.
I am a few firmware revisions behind, but still shouldn't make much of a difference. Updated all drivers on servers and firmware for blade NIC's. All ports are showing a "Current Port Speed" of "10G Full", they have an MTU of 1518 and are in Full Duplex mode.
Is there anything blatantly obvious that could be affecting this? I have gone through the switch and the CPU utilization says its steady around 37%.
Total Memory 524288 KBytes
Available Memory 166337 KBytes
Not a network guy by any stretch of the imagination. We have had this setup in for about 3 years now, but users are complaining about slow drive usage and this network runs is our storage network, so I think this is what is slowing it down.
Any help is appreciated.
