Acess point vs wireless router

Hello,

I have a small pension with a yard of around 600-800 square meters and I need a way to amplify my signal received via a router inside the pension via a FTP cat6e ethernet cable,cable length will be under 50-100m, I have around 15-25 people maximum outside that can connect to a wireless connection, so It's just a handful of people.

My question is: What do I get, a good wireless router or an access point, please motivate your answer since I kinda need a professional answer since I am not new to networking. Basically I need an "extender" for the router that I already have, and I am leaning toward a wireless router because I don't understand the high price that AP have with lower speed and specs, budget is around 100-150 euro.
