why is multicast being flooded on L2 switch?

I have the topology below:

switch is L2 is device. This is all in eve-ng

When I initiate a ping from the router R3: ping 225.9.9.9 source eth0/0.10, I see that the switch is flooding the traffic.

I thought that the whole point of IGMP SNOOPING was to stop this from happening. I have taken the outputs of show ip igmp snooping groups and show ip igmp snooping mrouter.

Another question is, why does the router send 3 echo requests but I get back 5 echo replies?
