Nexus port profiles?

Hi all,

I read some posts around the web/reddit and in the past it looked like port-profiles were not recommended for production use.

The posts were a few years old - and I was hoping to hear from people who are using them today in production. Would you say they function as expected or are still classified as 'buggy' ? I intend on using them for vPC uplinks and tagged server ports
