Given an average consumer grade wifi router, is there any logic to how wifi-connected devices are prioritized? i.e. say you have 20+ devices connected, the router seems unable to handle this many connections and starts periodically dropping devices. the smartphones/mobile devices (and the one chromecast) connected seem to be getting dropped more frequently than the laptops connected. Was this just coincidence? Do the laptops just reconnect more seamlessly? Or do the laptops have a higher priority on remaining connected?
