BGP help

Im using a 24 port Brocade chassis to advertise BGP routes to our neighbors. I have been asked to simply add a BGP route for a particular customer who's requesting a X.X.X.X/22 route. Issue is I've never really worked with BGP. This is what I have so far:

router bgp (AS#)

network x.x.x.x mask x.x.x.x

ip route <ip adddress> <subnet mask> <next hop address> (administrative distance)

Do I need to also add the group ID? I dont see any policy maps or route filters being used for this particular customer, so I dont think any need be applied.

Thanks in advance.
