I am working to migrate from using gig copper connections to 10 gig fiber connections between my ISP and Firewall. The firewall is a Cisco ASA 5585. I am curious what would be the best way to go about this. Since I cannot name two interfaces the same, what would be the least impactful way to go about this? Would I just need to rename all of my ACLs, NAT statements, crypto maps, and other config areas that deal with the nameif? Is there an easier way to achieve this that I am missing?
