I own a very small IT support company (me and a few part timers) in Phoenix, AZ. One of the things I have experience with is collocation/data center rack and stack and remote hands from some of my previous jobs, but I'm having trouble even finding businesses that need this type of work at the local data centers here in Arizona. The data centers I used to work for require that you lease space before they will advertise you to other customers on their technician/MSP lists which can cost thousands of dollars just for a small office.
Most Data Center remote hands staff either out-right refuse to do some work, or they can botch the job and you end up having to fly out or hire someone anyways.
So, my question to you guys: When you need someone to go to your equipment and either perform work or do something simple like just plugging in a console cable, where do you find them? Where should I advertise my services so that I can be found and perform an awesome job for people?
