For the Network Engineers that made it to management or the C-Suite..

What did you do to get there? Did you do any certifications to go down that path or did you just work your way up the ladder in a company?

I love networking but Im at a point that I would like to get into management and above at some point.

I see alot of Security guys work their way easily into management usually because they have a CISSP and have to work with the higher ups for the most part.

Sorry if this is not the place just look for a bit of guidance from my fellow network folks.
