Hello, this is my first post on this sub. I’m moving into my new house with my wife and we are buying an internet package through SuddenLink. It’s got up to 400Mb download speeds and 40Mb upload. I want to buy a modem and router that can handle these speeds and is approved by SuddenLink. I’d rather the modem and router be separate. They offer free installation.
Any advice on which modems and routers could handle these speeds? I’ve heard that I should get one with faster download speeds than 400Mb because they could upgrade my area’s speed in the future. I’m completely new to this so if there’s something I’m not thinking about please let me know!
