So we're looking into NSX and have been through training and all that, it seems like a fantastic product, particularly the microsegmentation piece. Upon further investigation though, I'm questioning if it's the right fit for our organization. We've recently overhauled the DC with Nexus 9K, and as near as I can tell from my limited knowledge of the two, that the 9K will provide the same functions (read VxLAN and distributed gateway) minus the microsegmentation, which isn't necessarily a show stopper. Has anybody got any opinions with good backing reason to sway one way or the other? Ideally this would serve as a vehicle for VM migrations and DR between data centers.
