Help Needed Creating VLAN on Netgear Prosafe xs712t

Hello all, I am having trouble creating a VLAN on a Netgear Prosafe XS712T switch.

What I am trying to do:

  1. Create a VLAN with IP subnet of 192.168.1.xxx on the switch for 4 ports.
  2. Connect my laptop, odroid(linux machine) & a android media player to those 4 ports
  3. Assign those 4 devices an IP address via DHCP? or Static?
  4. Create an RTSP stream on the linux machine and decode it using the android media player.

The reason I want to do this on a separate switch is because I am afraid of bogging down our office network and would rather have an isolated network for my testing purposes.

What I have tried doing so far:

Please also have a look at this imgur album of screenshots of the switch settings I have tried configuring so far from the web GUI - https://imgur.com/a/HqflC

  1. Created a VLAN #20 and called it Test
  2. Set the first 4 ports as untagged
  3. Configured the PVID to 20 for the 4 ports
  4. Tried setting up a DHCP server for that VLAN
  5. Set the IP address of the VLAN to 192.168.1.1 in the Routing tab.

im probably not doing this right, I have very basic knowledge when it comes to setting up a network switch as you can probably tell. I was using these links below from Netgear as a guide, any help/suggestions or feedback is appreciated! thanks in advance!
