Some questions for the fibre/fiber gurus out there... I've ordered some RS485-over-fibre converters that have a simplex "SC-PC" connector type (they use full duplex communication over a single fibre using different wavelengths). The patch panels on the site are duplex LC.
Questions:

Is "SC-PC" the same as "SC"?

I'm having difficulty finding simplex LC-SC patch leads, but there are obviously lots of duplex options... Would I still be able to use these? I.e. should I be able to just simply plug in one side of the SC duplex connector? Or can I split a duplex SC connector in half?
