Connecting ACI with Layer 2 vlan - IP Helper

Hi Guys,

I am in the process of building an ACI fabric for one of our customers. Now they have a part on the "legacy" nexus network where they have a switch configuration with the default gateway on that switch (Nexus 5K) and it has a IP-Helper.

Thinking of migrating that towards ACI, but the IP-helper functionality needs to stay, they will need to stage machines within the ACI fabric. How do i complete this the best possible way?

• Can i generate an EPG that will tag traffic with this vlan and place the machines that need a network boot in that EPG? That would mean i create an EPG with that vlan to the port of the switch and a port of the server?

• Can i create a L2out? How do i make sure that certained servers will use that L2Out? VRF table? I want them to reach those IP-helper servers
