Was told this is the best place to ask this question.
Been testing Hamachi for a home office customer who has one mobile employee and he wants to give him access to one folder on the office computer which is acting as Hub in a Hub and Spoke Hamachi setup.
I want to be able to control the folders the mobile Spoke client has access to on the hub machine. I created a local user account for that mobile user on the hub machine with rights to just the one folder but when I connect from a spoke machine that has a completely different local logon name and password I never get prompted by Windows to enter a logon and password when clicking on any of the hub machines shared folders. It just lets me in to any of them.
I would expect Windows security would prompt me to for logon credentials for those folders since the user account on the spoke client machine is different than the user accounts and associated permissions set up on the hub machine.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Adam
