What do you guys use for a packet generator / WAN tester? I need something where you can set the mbps as well as number of packets to a set destination. I would be nice if the generator could tag traffic with DSCP values but isn't a requirement.
I have tried Ostinato, but either I am not setting it up correctly or it doesn't send to an actual external destination. I set all the parameters according to the DOC and I see the packets in Wireshark locally on the machine but the packets never traverse the network.
So /r/networking... what do you guys use to generate packets for WAN testing?
