There's an example of a 3-node Wavelength division muxing ring here:
However, I can't make heads or tails of it. I don't see a pattern!
I know a 4-node ring will need 6 wavelengths (n * (n-1) / 2), but I have no idea how this pattern goes.
Could anyone explain the mechanics of what gets transmitted and received at each node, and why?
