I've been tasked with price comparing some options. We need to replace two old ProCurve switches that are only 10/100. Therefore we need a couple new 48 port, gigabit switches with 802.3af PoE on all ports (due to IP phones which max at 6.1W each and APs maxing at 9W)
Now I know the sky's the limit with switches but we're running Unifi products elsewhere. Is there any reason we can't just go with a Unifi US-48-500W (Or even a ES-48-500W for less).
There are a few cheaper options out there (ProSAFE GS752TP) but is there anything I'm not thinking of?
