Simple question. Is there any way for two STP instances to coexist on the same network (without say, using two different MSTP instances?) ie: Can a PVST instance on a network sit next to another PVST? Or do switches automatically interconnect and create one larger instance when they're directly connected with the same STP protocol?
I know VTP doesn't act on STP, so you can't isolate an STP instance that way.
