Are there any solutions out there similar to the 10g version of the netscout onetouch at for testing 10g fiber links?
We already have an otdr kit for certifying the fiber, but sometimes the users run into issues where they blame the network instead of their equipment and having a device to plug into the fiber handoff we gave them to prove the network is not at fault is useful. Right now we have a clunky solution using a laptop connected via thunderbolt to an external sfp+ card, but something more portable would be nice. The netscout tester looks like it works, but rather than buy the first one that looks like it works, Id prefer to compare a few.
