My internal network was all on DEFAULT_VLAN (1). I need to moved to a different VLAN, internal (2). I left 1 device on the old mgmt VLAN, but I wanted to enable mgmt from my internal vlan to the switch. I'm not sure what I'm missing here.
My changes:
-
Switch Configuration - IP Configuration -> Enabled DHCP for the "internal" vlan. No IP is listed. (There is one for the DEFAULT_VLAN)
-
IP Managers - Added 2 IPs from my internal vlan.
-
VLAN - VLAN Support -> Primary VLAN set to internal vlan
-
Port assignments -> Moved everyone on DEFAULT_VLAN to internal vlan (except 1 device).
I haven't rebooted for fear of getting completely locked out. Plus, all other changes were live, not sure that I need to reboot.
In short, I want to move management of my device over to the new Internal vlan. Is that doable?
Edit 2: I realize I need to create a new network on my router for DEFAULT_VLAN, and enable traffic between them. But can I move management of my device to the Internal vlan, or have on that vlan as well?
