So I'm trying to look into hosting DHCP and DNS services somewhere centrally, instead of locally on each site.
First I want to find out what type of latency requirements there are (if any, aside from local solutions) on DHCP or DNS.
Second - how to deal with DHCP request going towards a different L3 'domain', i.e. over SDWAN to a different site. I'm not sure if this is even an issue, perhaps there's some relay required, no idea.
Do you guys have any experience with this? Perhaps I'm making this more complicated than it needs to be.
