Why am I not getting gigabit speeds here?

At my job, we have 36 laptops we send out for classes a couple times per month. We usually have to update out course content at least once a month. As you can imagine, getting an external hard drive and moving large ish files (anywhere from 10 MBs to 10 GBs or so) to each computer is very time consuming.

So, I bought a router (Archer a7, it's a tp-link router rated for 1300 Mbps on the ghz channel) expecting that when we get all of our laptops shipped back to our office, I can: 1. Get the laptops out of their cases, plug the AC power in, and turn them all on 2. Go to my system, and plug in the router directly to one of the lan ports 3. Use deepfreeze (basically a way to organize all the ip addresses) to move out files all at once to each laptop at the same time

This way it could save me many hours each time we update class content. This is a picture of what it looks like: Here

The problem is I'm only getting about 225 Mb/s, and I can't figure out the where in the router's settings this would be as I'm not super versed in all the networking jargon.
