Thoughts on Brocade (Ruckus) 6XXX vs 7XXX for compact 8 or 12 port POE switch? (versus Mikrotik?)

I need a compact 8-port (or 12-port) switch with POE and features like 802.1x (wired), and maybe some basic layer 3 features like VRFs. This is for home learning.

Some of the options I'm considering:

• Ruckus ICX 6430-C12
• Ruckus ICX 6450-C12P
• Ruckus ICX 7150-C12P
• Mikrotik CRS112-8P-4S-IN

I know the Brocade ICX 6XXX line is older - however, what are the main differences between those and the newer 7XXX line?

Budget would ideally be < $500, second-hand is fine.
