Network traffic through LAG

I have 2 Dell N2048 switches connected via static LAG to each other. STP is off on both the LAG and the ports.

From there, the 2 switches are connected to 2 sonicwall's that are in an active/standby HA pair. Each switch has one cable that goes to one interface on the individual Sonicwalls.

Let's call the top switch .1 and the bottom .2

If i'm on .1, I cannot ping any traffic on .2. However, if i'm on .2 I can ping any traffic on .1.

Any ideas?

Is this because the .2 is communicating with the active primary Sonicwall and .1 is connected to the standby Sonicwall? I would think that the LAG would send the traffic for the gateway from one switch to the other...then if one fails, the ARP tables get updated and the traffic goes out the correct port in case of failure.
