If i go fiber in to a 10gb cisco switch and out to a 1gb ethernet cable, will I lose any packets?
What if i go the other way? Will i lose packets?
Is this something flow controls helps with?
Also if i have 5 ports that need to egress out a 10gb vlan int port for a router on a stick topology, would each host transfer at 2gb assuming theyre xfering at the same time?
Any links anyone can send me to help understand flow calculations?
