Best way to monitor my ProCurve switches for faults?

I use SpiceWorks to inventory and send me alerts when stuff goes down. Also backs up my configs.

I want to be alerted if a fan dies or a PSU fails. Or any other critical messages. Can each switch be configured for this or do I need a service running somewhere?

I have 15 switches on my network , a mix of 5412, 5406, and 2920 models.
