We currently are running Juniper EX3300-48P / EX2200-48P switches in our MDF/IDF closets at 7 locations. Our layout is one or more EX3300 (aggregation layer) in each closet with some EX2200's (access layer) in most IDF closets. We are looking to purchase around 25 switches via the eRate program. Two vendor reponses so far have been for EX3400-48P switches or HPE/Aruba 2930M.
We are happy with our Juniper network but are always interested in what other manufacturers offer. I don't work with the switches on a day to day basis but manage the person who does. From what I can tell, we don't have anything odd as far as configuration needs. We definately want Layer 3 switches. I want to make sure I am as informed as possible when making this decision.
Any insight would be great. If there is any other clarifying information you need to better give a response, I will provide what I can.
Thanks.
