Dell N4000 SNMP Stack Monitoring

Hi all,

I have the "wonderful opportunity" to use some Dell N4000 switches that are configured as a 4 member stack. The SNMP monitoring that is currently being done does not include any status for the health of the stack. I'm used to Juniper switch stacks and I know that on a switch failure it causes a chassis alarm and this can be monitored. I have done some googling in regards to the Dell and the answer keeps coming back that you should use SNMP traps for stack health. This isn't ideal as you can't guarantee in a failure that the switch will send the trap. I'd rather have active polling. I figure if it's possible someone on here will likely know. Does anyone have some insight? An OID I can query?

Cheers,

H
