Configuring IP SLA to track a loopback.

Hey!

I want to configure IP SLA tracking in order to have a backup default route, simulating a second ISP.

My question is: Can i configure the ip sla on a loopback interface, rather than the physical directly-connected one, so i can simulate "pinging" something on the internet? Sometimes the interface on the ISP router might work, but there is no guaranteed connection.
