I'm trying to figure out if it is possible to monitor packet loss on a port either with an SNMP get or an SNMP trap. Googling the question gives me a million leads but I've been on it for a few hours and it keeps leading me down a bunch of rabbit holes that end up being for other devices or software packages.
Has anyone ever monitored packet loss on a Cisco switch port using SNMP?
