Gone are the days when USB-A, SD-Card slots and headphone jacks were a thing.. Especially if we think about the way Apple is going. There are thousands of adaptors for all of them, but technology is going on. Always changing.
I wondered, if it’s possible that USB-C, (especially thunderbolt 3) replace Ethernet.
Compared to Ethernet, USB-C could achieve double the data rate (20 instead of 10Gb/s) And TB3 could even double that with a potential speed of 40Gb/s
I haven’t seen any USB-C enabled routers especially with a network-throughput. It would’ve a huge potential in datacenters
