So I'm having a weird intermittent issue with my network. We've got all Unifi equipment, AP's and switches. I've had no complaints with my wired network. We have 300mbs up and down, every speedtest comes through great.
Periodically our wireless network will drop to nothing. Speedtests will be .5mbps or fail. I can ping the firewall but can't seem to ping anything outside. At the same time I can do a speed test on a computer plugged into the same vlan, same switch the AP is plugged into and get 100+. Then a couple minutes later wireless is fine again.
The problem is I'm not responsible for the wifi, another guy is. So he's pointing at me saying I can ping the firewall this isn't a wireless issue and I'm pointing at him saying the wired network is completely stable, it's not a wired issue.
Any thoughts?
