So my company uses a very odd (well, odd to me) NAT statement:
ip nat inside source static tcp 192.168.x.x 5555 interface GigabitEthernet0 5555
I’ve tried to Google this specific example, but I can never find anything that uses both PAT and an interface...
Can someone explain what is going on here? We use this so a 3rd party company can telnet, over the internet, from their local office, into their device that’s behind our Cisco router. This device is connected to a VLAN that has direct internet access.
