For all those who have to troubleshoot issues regarding reaching specific sites or at the ISP level, what’s the craziest or weirdest reason why a specific site just wasn’t reachable?
I have a customer that intermittently has issues accessing specific sites.
Sites aren’t blackholed from our core, no explicit ACL, DNS records line up correctly, no pending DNS propagation & shit I’m able to access the site on the same network.
Claims their firewall logs don’t display anything ( of course they don’t or can’t share/ relay this kind of info)
What’s your wildest story why a certain site was unreachable/inaccessible?
