ForeScout and Cisco DNA Switch Licensing

We are about to replace our end-of-life Cisco infrastructure with new and faster Cisco switching gear. Question about the edge/access switches. We are at some point looking towards ForeScout as a future NAC for us. Does it care which switch features are made available from Cisco DNA Essentials or Advantage licensing to work properly?
