In a switch stack, I replaced a 24 port switch (2960x) with a brand new 48 port switch. The stack recognizes the new switch as a WS-C2960X-48FPS-L with the same OS version as the other. But somehow, only the first 24 ports are transmitting traffic.
I can configure all the 48 ports, I even see them as connected when I plug a device in (Power granted/Interface UP/Line UP). Yet the mac address table of the last 24 ports stays empty. I don't see any errors in the logs. Has any of you seen this before?
