Can we use the Multi-Gig port as a 10G Uplink

Hello All,

1- How does the Multi-Gig Copper port decide the right speed according to the LLDP or CDP communication between the switch and the end device to check the highest port speed?

2- Can Multi-Gig Copper ports that are connected between two switches use on both sides 10G speed instead of purchasing SFP+ to support 10G, I am dealing with a Juniper switch here.
