Hide letters after domain

I wanted to know how to hide the letters after a domain for example i want to shorten it from https://example.com/image0.jpg to https://example.com

i saw an image host using this to shorten urls but i does know how to do it this is an example url from a website that isn't online anymore but did the hidden urls this is it hidden and when i pasted it to a special application that showed % symbols
