I'm planning on implementing a number of ASAs with locally administered MAC addresses as the customer requires the MAC. From my understanding, the MAC addresses that fall within the ranges (e.g. x2xx-xxxx-xxxx) are all 'private' addresses that no organisation has reserved, so kinda like IPv4 1918 addresses. As I found some information on it but nothing from the IEEE website itself.
