I'm struggling with a problem on a network. Can anyone explain how switchport access vlan 600 and switchport trunk allowed vlan 27 work together please?
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/5
switchport access vlan 600
switchport trunk allowed vlan 27
switchport mode trunk
spanning-tree portfast

That is one end of a link between two switches - this is the other end.
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/6
switchport trunk allowed vlan 27
switchport mode trunk
