I have these two fairly new NAS in my datacenter. I'm migrating to the Synology. I have both connected to a managed switch with gigabit ethernet. I see that theoretically I should be able to top out around 600MB/s write with the Synology but even half that would be fine.
What is my limiting factor here? Any thoughts? I am not sure if I can multiplex connections and aggregate data throughput. I don't think my switch is a limiting factor, but I'll look more in to it's stats.
