Need advice for networking in python

I’ve recently got into networking, and I’m really interested in it as I am also in the Pen Testing field.

Networking is huge in Pen Testing and I do know a bit, bit not much, and since I’m an “ethical hacker”, I’m going to need it mainly for things like creating exploits and reverse shells.

I learned the basics of socket and it seems pretty simple, but I want to go further. I can’t find tutorials or blogs ANYWHERE on socket programming beyond creating a simple server and client. I have no idea how to apply my low level python networking skills in the real world because most of the simple stuff I do know about networking isn’t applicable because it’s just not up there enough with the rest of the advanced software in this world.

Really what I’m asking is for somebody to point me in the right direction. I need something more advanced and applicable or at least a pointer to get started, because I’m honestly lost. Book recommendations, websites, YouTube channels, subs, advice, anything helps.

TL;DR: I need advice to learn more advanced/applicable uses in python for networking.
